Val d'Isère
There is so much to enjoy and explore in Val d'Isère, the mountain village with an international reputation. Its 17th century baroque church, traditional houses, narrow streets and lively café terraces make this a great place to holiday. Val d'Isère is one of the most sought after ski resorts for its cultural resources, its heritage and its scenery.
Every week brings a choice of concerts, musical evenings, traditional events, torchlight ski descents (in winter) and firework displays lighting up the skies over Val d'Isère.

The Vanoise National Park
An hour and a half from Val d'Isère lies the Vanoise National Park, the first of France's national parks to be created. The 53,000 hectare nature reserve is unique in its array of glaciers, mountain lakes and its countless animal and plant species. Walkers and cyclists appreciate its many signposted walks and mountain bike trails.

The Pissaillas glacier
Summer skiing: a rare privilege and a longstanding tradition in Val d’Isère. From 27 June to 15 August (snow conditions permitting) it is possible to ski the Pissaillas glacier, 3,300 m above sea level. An experience no ski fan should miss.
